Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bafanda Freight website and the freight forwarding, consolidation, FBA logistics, warehouse storage & distribution, and DDP services we provide. By requesting a quote, placing a booking, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

Bafanda Freight arranges international transportation of goods on behalf of shippers. Our services include:

• Consolidation — combining cargo from multiple suppliers into cost-saving, repacked shipments.
• FBA logistics — first-hand handling through to last-mile delivery into Amazon fulfilment.
• Warehouse storage & distribution — storage, pick-and-pack, and last-mile distribution.
• DDP services — Delivered Duty Paid shipping, where we manage transit, customs clearance, duties, and taxes.

2. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quotation and are based on the cargo details you provide. Final charges may vary where actual weight, volume, or dimensions differ from those quoted, or where carrier surcharges, fuel costs, or exchange rates change before booking.

3. Booking and shipment

You agree to provide complete and accurate cargo details, including description, weight, dimensions, and origin/destination. A booking is confirmed when we issue a booking confirmation. Schedules and transit times are estimates and may change due to carrier schedules, port congestion, or other events outside our reasonable control.

4. Customs and compliance

You are responsible for the accuracy of customs declarations and for ensuring your cargo complies with the import and export laws of the origin, transit, and destination countries. You must provide all documents required for clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and any licences or permits. Under DDP terms, we manage duties and taxes on your behalf as agreed in the quotation.

5. Prohibited and dangerous goods

You must declare any dangerous, hazardous, restricted, or prohibited goods before booking. We may refuse to carry cargo that is illegal, unsafe, or that we are not authorised to handle. You are liable for any loss, damage, fines, or penalties arising from undeclared or misdeclared goods.

6. Insurance

Cargo insurance is not included unless separately arranged. We can arrange cargo insurance on request at an additional cost. Where no insurance is arranged, liability for loss or damage is limited to the applicable carrier's standard terms.

7. Liability

We act as a freight forwarder and intermediary between you, carriers, and customs authorities. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount recoverable from the underlying carrier, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, port congestion, customs holds, or carrier operational changes.

8. Payment

Payment terms are stated on the quotation or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, charges are due before release of cargo or within the period stated on the invoice. Late payments may incur interest and we may withhold services or the release of goods until outstanding amounts are settled.

9. Claims

Any claim for loss or damage must be notified to us in writing within the time specified by the applicable carrier's terms, and you must provide supporting documentation, including the bill of lading, packing list, and evidence of the loss or damage.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, and logos, is owned by Bafanda Freight or its licensors and may not be reproduced without our written permission.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate a booking or agreement on reasonable written notice, subject to payment of any charges incurred up to the date of termination.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Shenzhen, China.
